    Dr. Jamie Paul

    Dr. Jamie Paul was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. She graduated from Guilford High School and went on to attend University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Microbiology and minor in Chemistry.

    Dr. Paul started her career in dentistry by attending Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois. She graduated cum laude receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Paul practiced as a general dentist for four years; she associated in dental offices in Maryland Heights, Fenton, O'Fallon and Gerald, Missouri.

    Dr. Paul went on to specialize in Endodontics and attended a two-year residency program at Saint Louis University. She earned her Master of Science degree and her Certificate in Endodontics. She practiced at Wentzville Endodontics and with Dr. H. Groves Cooke at Southwest Endodontics in Washington, Missouri as an associate endodontist.

    Dr. Paul recently purchased the Washington location of Southwest Endodontics. As of January 1, 2017, the practice name was changed to Washington Endodontics. Dr. Paul will practice at this location full-time and Dr. H. Groves Cooke will practice part-time for the foreseeable future.

    Dr. Paul resides in Clayton, Missouri with her husband and two young daughters. They enjoy traveling, Cardinals baseball and spending time with their friends and family.

    H. Groves Cooke

    Dr. Groves Cooke graduated from DePauw University with a BA degree. After graduating from Washington University School of Dental Medicine with a DDS degree, he was commissioned into the United States Army. During his active duty, he attended an Endodontic Residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and received an MS degree from George Washington University. After seven years of active duty Dr. Cooke returned to the St. Louis area and taught Endodontics at Washington University until the school closed in 1991. Dr. Cooke remained in the active reserves of the United States Army until 1995. He is retired from the Army with the rank of Colonel.

    In 1980 Dr. Cooke started an endodontic office in Washington, Missouri. For the first 15 years this was a one day a week endeavor. In 1995 he opened a new office on Wainwright Street and soon began practicing 3 to 4 days a week. In 2008 the office moved to its present location at 709 Jefferson.

    Dr. Cooke is a member of the American Dental Association and its components, the American Association of Endodontics, the American College of Dentists, and The International College of Dentists. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is married and has two children and two grandchildren. His hobbies include golf, fishing, gardening, and fussing with old tractors.

    Front Desk/Assistant

    Katy has been an asset to the practice since 2019. She has two young children and grew up in Washington. She enjoys spending time with her family.

  • Kaitlyn Rosa
    Assistant

    Kaitlyn is new to our practice, but is fitting in perfectly.  She loves spending time with her doggies and friends and family.

    Tonya has young twins and an older son. She is from St. Clair, MO.
